When selecting photos for marketing purposes, please keep the following guidelines in mind:
Taking or finding good photos is not easy. It requires looking through a lot of photos to find a good one, but a good photo is worth it. Keep searching and be picky — these images will either reinforce the brand image, or dilute it.
Because Red Pepper's code itself does not make a good photo subject, brand photos should provide a glimpse of Red Pepper's office, culture, and people. They should be candid shots of Red Pepper employees engaged in working, presenting, and meeting with clients. Guidelines for these brand photos are as follows:
• Keep the photos candid. The subjects of the photo should not look overly posed.
• Ensure there is adequate lighting. Use natural light whenever possible and avoid using strong flashes.
• Take the photo that best tells the story of the meeting, event, or activity in a single image.
• Take the best photos you can — better photos will make Red Pepper feel more trustworthy and competent.
